‘Train. Retain. Maintain.’
LBL Skills are committed to training individuals in an engaging and enthusiastic manner so they can retain the information gleaned through various teaching methods and then maintain that thread of learning throughout their educational journey.
Our Vision is: “LBL Skills want to help employers to develop new and existing talent within the housing sector in a way that ultimately benefits their customers, who are often some of the most vulnerable members of society”.
“We are making it our Mission to work together with employers to develop staff, apprentices and residents to achieve their potential.”
To achieve our vision and mission we are committed and passionate to our Values:
- Nurturing: Delivering support that encourages progression
- Quality: Exceptional levels of engagement and outstanding training
- Knowledge: Up to date and relevant
- Bespoke: Providing a service that meets the customers specific needs where possible
LBL Skills strategic vision is to continue to focus our recruitment and engagement within the Social Housing sector across England.
At LBL Skills we aim to help our customers through training and development that is engaging and enjoyable using various teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners.
Whether it is up-skilling new hires or consolidating the skills and knowledge needed by established staff our trainers endeavour to deliver outstanding results every time. Our aim is to train your staff, help them retain that information through various teaching methods and then maintain that thread of learning through periodic refresher courses as and when appropriate.
Although much of our training is delivered at some of the largest Social Housing providers in the UK we have established customers in the Leisure, Events and Social Health Care industries and this client diversity continues to grow. Personal and Professional Development training continues to be a growth area for LBL Skills as we now deliver nationally accredited training programmes in The Principles of Customer Service, Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH), Moving and Handling of Patients, Emergency First Aid, Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) and more. We also work very closely with our strategic partner to deliver Apprenticeships through the Governments Levy programme.
The team has decades of experience in learning and development and is led by Business Development Director, Oliver Henry, who as a Chartered Member of The Chartered Institute of Housing, has worked as a guest lecturer at Birmingham City University in addition to over 25 years experience working and training in the Private and Public Sectors. Oliver is joined by a team of talented trainers who specialise in specific areas of Learning and Development.
