Simple actions can save lives.

Do you want to know what to do in the case of an emergency?

The simple actions of first aid can save lives, however many people don’t always see the need, benefit or even lack the confidence in taking a First Aid course.

Each year in the UK alone, thousands of people die or are seriously injured in accidents or incidents. Many of these deaths could have been prevented if first aid was given before emergency services arrived. Do you want to help reduce the number?

In a study conducted by the University of Manchester last year, they found that up to 59% of deaths from injury may have been prevented if first aid had been carried out before the arrival of the emergency services.*

It is a requirement by The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 for employers to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel for first aid to ensure their employees receive immediate attention in the case of an emergency at work. Is your organisation fully equipped?

Many charity organisations have been campaigning for years to get first aid onto the curriculum in schools within the UK. The great news is, the government is discussing plans to action this by 2020. Children and young people also, will be able to gain the skills needed to save lives.

Being prepared and learning the skills to provide basic first aid in the face of an accident, can be life saving and that is why we want to help you contribute to reducing that number and train as many people as we can in First Aid.

One of our previous students commented on how vital First Aid training can be;

“Not long after my first aid training during a break away with my family, I witnessed what at first I thought was a scuffle between two young men. It turned out to be a multiple stabbing and as the first person at the scene I was able to give life saving assistance to the victim. My training kept me calm and allowed me to recall the key purpose behind first aid to Preserve life, Prevent deterioration & Promote recovery.”
