More and more people are choosing or developing a career in Housing. Some take the Neighbourhood Management route others choose Housing Advice. In addition other choices include Customer Liaison, Welfare Reform Support, Antisocial Behaviour, Tenancy Management or Homelessness.

The aforementioned list is not exhaustive but serves to illustrate the career options open to new and existing housing staff.

Working with our Strategic Partner, LBLSkills offer access to Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) and City & Guilds qualifications at various levels.

A popular entry-level qualification often delivered as part of an apprenticeship programme is a level 2 Certificate in Housing.

Housing professionals often opt to complete the CIH Level 3 Certificate or Diploma in Housing Practice.

If you are already working in housing and aim to develop your career through to a role in management the a CIH Level 4 Certificate in Housing may be the route for you.

With the Welfare Reform Changes already established within Housing Management an alternative route could include the Foundation Degree in Housing with Support. Regardless of the choices you are considering we can help.
