Awaab’s Law—Implementation
Awaab's Law came into force on 27 October 2025. This legislation requires social landlords to address reported damp, mould, and emergency repairs within strict timeframes. The law will initially focus on damp and mould before expanding to cover further housing hazards in 2026.

This course provides a closer exploration of Awaab’s law and what it means for landlords. It considers the phased implementation ofthe legislation and how internal policies and procedures need to be streamlined to meet requirements in all sectors, including social
and private rented, across the home nations.

Understanding the new report writing requirements and the lo-gistics of making this work in a large organisation

Using case studies to discuss emergency cases to discern how to make safe and when alternative accommodation is required.
